Grainger Threaded Brass Insert - M4

The Grainger double ended insert is a self-tapping insert. It has a coarse external thread form, with three equidistant cutting flutes and increased outside diameter and length.  These inserts are designed for use in wood and provide a secure mechanical connection without stressing the wood, particularly good where extra rigidity is required or the need to assemble and did-assemble the joint and on frequent basis

This insert has an M4 metric tapped hole x 10mm Long

M4 Neck screws better suit standard bolt on necks which use neck plates rather than individual ferrule washers
